What’s Up With That? Howard Stern Calls Gabourey Sidibe Enormous

Howard Stern‘s saying something shocking! (Shocker, right?) Today his target is Precious‘ Gabourey Sidibe. “There’s the most enormous, fat black chick I’ve ever seen. She is enormous. Everyone’s pretending she’s a part of show business and she’s never going to be in another movie.” And on Oprah Winfrey: “Oprah’s another liar, a filthy liar. She’s telling an enormous woman the size of a planet that she’s going to have a career.” We should note Gaby just landed a role on Showtime’s The Big C.

    I say ignore Howard. We cannot address everytime some ingnorant white man says something about one of our beautiful black people.
    We as black people just need to hold Gabriel up as a beautiful young lady regardless of her size!
    No she does not look like a Brittany or Lindsey, nor does she have their baggage!
    She has a beautiful spirit and will not let her size hold her back.

    To be honest not surprised about Howard…I’m more offended by his ‘side-kick’ Co-signing for him!! …and she’s black…and not too long ago over weight as well…she still isn’t “skinny”. Just because you have a position that can influence the opinions/thoughts of others – does not mean that you have the right to BASH people for your own ‘RATINGS”.

    I’m not impressed by ‘shock-jocks’. They have the opportunity to improve our world – yet they simply can’t wait to use that opportunity in a negative way. …and they seem to go after people that aren’t even doing anything wrong.

    This young lady is an actress. She just played the roll of her life (at this point in her career – because I BELIEVE that she will do other movies due to her acting ability – not her dress size) and instead of celebrating this fact, we are allowing someone that obviously has nothing better to do with his time – to bring her down.
