Loving yourself is an important aspect of life. It is important to love yourself before you can love others. As long as you are willing to fully appreciate yourself you can learn to love yourself.

Step 1

Write a list of reasons why you love yourself. Think about compliments given to you lately and write down reasons why you should think more highly about yourself. Friendliness, caring, and a good attitude are positive points you should be sure to write down.

Step 2

Do something good for others daily and praise yourself for it. Whether it is something big like donating to the needy or even as little as writing out a Missing You note to an old friend. Praising yourself for good deeds is an important part of loving yourself.

Step 3

Keep a notepad specifically for compliments that you receive. Each time you receive a compliment be sure to write it down so you don’t forget it. If you are feeling down check your notepad to remind yourself why you should love yourself.

Step 4

If you have any negative thoughts, write down why you are feeling this why and what you can do about it. An example: “I cannot do anything right”. Tell yourself that all people make mistakes and in order to love yourself to the fullest extend think of all the things you have done lately that are right. Correct the act that you did not do as you wanted for next time.

Step 5

Do comforting things for yourself. Sometimes pampering yourself is what you deserve. Serve yourself some chocolate ice cream or relax in a soothing bubble bath. Treat yourself so you can feel great about yourself.

If your on a date with a man and he shows confidence in everything he does and has a sturdy and proud posture, this is a sign that he is confident . Usually when a man shows confidence in himself he’s usually confident in the bedroom also. If a man brags about what he can and what he is going to do to you in bed, chances are he is not good in bed. Men who are usually good in bed do not have a reason to build themselves up. They know what they have and what they can do, so there is no reason for them to convince you of it. Here are a few things to observe in a man to see if he is good in bed:

Step 1

A good dancer
If you observe the way he dances you can get a feel of the way he moves. If he is a good dancer, that indicates that he has rhythm. That’s a good thing.

Step 2

A good kisser
If a man kisses you with passion and grace that’s a good sign. If he is a graceful and not sloppy kisser it tells you a little bit about they way he displays affection. If his kiss is sloppy the sex is probably the same.

Step 3

Confident with his body
If he is confident enough to take his clothes off in front of you at the drop of a dime that’s great, as long as he doesn’t seem too confident. It shows that he is confident.

Step 4

Past dating experiences
If he has a habit of dating women in their thirties and he is in his twenties that’s a good sign. This shows he has experience with mature women and they have probably taught him how to do things in the bedroom in a mature way.

Step 5

Open minded when talking about sex
If he can talk about sex with an open-mind but also in a respectful way, that is also a sign he is good in bed. This indicates that he has no reason to feel ashamed because he is displaying to you how comfortable he is in talking about it.

On Monday (March 8), Lil Wayne officially began a one-year prison sentence at Riker’s Island for gun possession charges. But with the sentencing being postponed several times prior (due to Wayne’s dental work and then a courthouse fire), it was an emotional ordeal for both his ex-wife Antonia “Toya” Johnson and their 11-year-old daughter Reginae.

“It was up and down, you know. One minute we thought he was going and she’d be sad and then he don’t go,” Toya told VIBE over the phone from Atlanta. “We [were] in New York like two times and we ended up turning right back around because he didn’t go.”

On the day the New Orleans rapper was finally sentenced, Toya and Reginae spoke to him but weren’t at the courthouse to say goodbye.

“The last day he finally went in, we didn’t go, so my daughter was like, ‘I wish I would’ve went.’ It was just too much. I just didn’t want to let her see that again ’cause both times she took it real hard,” said Toya. “So I was like, I’m not gon’ let her go this last time. I’m just gon’ make sure he talk to her ’cause I didn’t know if he was really gonna go. They kept pushing back.”

“He just told me to be strong and don’t really trip. Don’t let her see me down,” said Toya. “At first my daughter would see me a little sad and you know kids they react off of your feelings sometimes, so he was just like, ‘Be strong, make sure you take care of her. Make sure she straight and keep her phone on all the times so I can call her. The time is gonna fly by.’

“The whole point of him being in jail is just not good for her—to say her dad’s in jail,” Toya continued. “But at this point it is what it is, and we just gotta make the best of it. I’ma take her to visit him and talk to him and she’ll get through this eight months. It’ll fly by. I tell her all the time, ‘Just call daddy and tell him you love him,’ and he’ll be home soon.”

Chris Brown is reaching out to his fans for help. Apparently radio stations are not playing his music and he wants his fans to support him.

Brown used an audio message to spread the desperate plea.

I ain’t never really did this but right now I need all of my fans help. A lot of radio stations aren’t playing my records. They are not being that supportive and I wouldn’t expect them to. It’s on the fans and what you guys do in your power to bring me back. That’s all I need is you guys and nothing else will do that except for the fans.

I don’t know what else to say. It’s nothing else that I can do. I’m doing everything that I need to do. I’m doing me as a person and I’m a better guy.

It’s on ya’ll. My singing and my music I do it for you guys and everything else but it won’t be possible if I’m not relevant on the radio and it wouldn’t be possible for me to be an artist if I don’t have the support. I can’t be an underground mixtape artist. That’s where we are. I just want all my fans to help me. I love ya’ll. Peace

Brown goes on to say he’s “a better guy now” … but says “[My music] won’t be possible if I’m not relevant on the radio … I can’t be an underground mix tape artist.”

Nelson Mandela Criticized By Ex-Wife Winnie

Winnie Mandela has sparked mass outrage in South Africa after leveling harsh criticism against her 92-year-old ex-husband and anti-apartheid icon, Nelson Mandela.

Winnie Madikizela-Mandela said she could not forgive him for accepting the Nobel Peace Prize in 1993 alongside F.W. De Klerk, according to British newspaper Evening Standard. The white president released Mandela and went on to participate in negotiations that ended apartheid.

“He agreed to a bad deal for the blacks. Economically, we are still on the outside. The economy is very much ‘white.’ It has a few token blacks, but so many who gave their life in the struggle have died unrewarded,” Madikizela-Mandela was quoted as saying.

The Star newspaper in Johannesburg accused Madikizela-Mandela of unleashing a “rant.” The governing African National Congress said it would not comment until its leaders could discuss the article with Madikizela-Mandela, who was traveling abroad Wednesday.

Madikizela-Mandela’s comments contrast sharply with those she made only last month at a forum marking the 20th anniversary of his release from prison. She said then that Mandela was loved and recognized around the world for his fearlessness, and that he had emerged from prison still committed to revolution.

The contrast prompted the Johannesburg newspaper The Times to accuse her of having “two faces.”

Mandela accused Madikizela-Mandela, his second wife, of infidelity and the two divorced in 1996, six years after he walked free following 27 years in prison. In recent years, Madikizela-Mandela has often joined Mandela and his third wife, former Mozambican first lady Graca Machel, at family gatherings.

According to TMZ:

Shaunie O’Neal’s lawyer, Sorrell Trope, tells TMZ Shaq and Shaunie have reached agreement on all terms of the divorce, including property, custody and support.

Under the agreement, the Florida courts will have jurisdiction to officially divorce the couple. In addition, a Florida judge will handle any issues that may arise involving property division and spousal support. Trope tells TMZ the California courts will have jurisdiction over any issues related to child custody.

Also, Shaunie is prepping for the debut of her new reality series “Basketball Wives.” In an exclusive interview with Essence Magazine, she explains what went wrong in her marriage, blaming Miami groupies, whom she says are the most “aggressive” she has even seen, and Shaq’s inability to resist temptation.

Shaunie on when things started to go bad in her marriage:
[Shaq was traded to the Miami Heat] “Miami is a great city. It just wasn’t a great city for our marriage. I know they say L.A. has its groupies, but Miami has a different mentality. Even going to the games, the whole environment is so different. Girls are practically sitting in their bra and panties in the arena. When you’re trying to keep your husband, that’s a lot to take. It was a whole new lifestyle I wasn’t ready for. Apparently we didn’t have a strong enough foundation for Shaq to withstand that type of temptation.”

On Wednesday, the R&B singer, R. Kelly, announced that he has to postpone his much anticipated European tour that was scheduled to begin March 22.

After developing nodules on his vocal cords, the singer’s doctor prescribed rest. For a month, the Kelly is not allowed to use his voice.

“I owe it to my fans to give them the best shows possible,” he said. “And right now my voice isn’t u to the job.”

The tour will be rescheduled for the fall. In the meantime, fans can look out for Kelly’s newest album to release some time this summer.

Queen Latifah To Throw Paula Patton’s Baby Shower

Queen Latifah is on the prowl for baby-blue party decorations.

She’s hosting the upcoming baby shower for Paula Patton, who is pregnant with her and hubby Robin Thicke’s first child, a boy.

“It’s going to be pretty intimate,” Latifah tells me. “Not too crazy. Just close family and friends.”

Patton is reportedly due in May. “She’s my buddy,” said Latifah, who costars with Patton and Common in Just Wright. “I love her. I’ve been watching her baby grow from the beginning.”

Look for some musical gifts to be on the baby registry, because it seems the couple is expecting the little guy to be musical. “He will be,” Thicke assured.

And no, she won’t be called Aunt Queen or Aunt Latifah. She’ll be using her real name instead. Latifah smiled: “I’m Auntie Dana.”
