2010 “FAMILY COMEDY TOUR OPENING ACT” CONNTEST PROMOTION

Official Contest Rules

Contest Description / How To Enter:

The WTLC-AM “Family Comedy Tour Opening Act Contest” (“Contest”) will be conducted from November 15, 2010 through December 3, 2010 (“Contest Period”).

Contestants must submit their entries beginning 6am EST November 15, 2010 and ending at 11:59pm EST November 21, 2010 (“Submission Period”). A panel of judges comprised of WTLC-AM staff members will review the entries and at their discretion, select the top four (4) entries and post them online for public voting. Non-contestant listeners will have the opportunity to log on to the station’s website at www.praiseindy.com to listen to and vote for their favorite contestant from the top four (4) entries that will be posted online from 6am EST November 25, 2010 through 11:59pm EST December 2, 2010 (“Voting Period”). The winner will be determined based on the number of online votes received, and will be announced on December 3, 2010 on AM 1310 The Light at 5:20PM. The winner will be the opening act for the “2010 Family Comedy Tour” when it stops in Indianapolis, IN. The winner will have up to five (5) minutes of performance time as the opening act.

Contestants must submit a video of their comedy routine online at www.praiseindy.com. Entries must be no longer than three (3) minutes in length.

Contestants whose videos are selected to be posted online will be required to sign and submit a release form.

Entry Requirements:
• Entries must be submitted in MP4, WAV or MOV file format and be accompanied by a brief bio. Submitted entries must also contain contact information (legal name, stage name, address, phone number, email address, and date of birth) to enter for a chance to win
• Entries may not be patently offensive, illegal, pornographic or obscene, or similarly inappropriate in Sponsor’s sole discretion
• Entries must be family friendly and not contain any profanity, obscene language, lewd or sexual content or references
• Submissions may not infringe upon any rights of any third party including without limitation, copyright, trademark and right of publicity or privacy
• Video entries must be taken and solely owned by the contestant submitting the entry
• Entries must be unpublished and not have been submitted in other competitions
• Submissions must not contain: derogatory characterizations of any ethnic, racial, sexual or religious groups, humiliate other people (publicly or otherwise), any assault or threatening of others
• If additional individuals are featured in the video entry, each entrant warrants and represents that the entrant has obtained permission from each person who appears in the video submission

ELIGIBILITY RESTRICTIONS:

1. The Contest is open to listeners of WTLC-AM who are 21 years of age and older and are legal residents of the U.S.

2. Employees of WTLC-AM, Radio One of Indiana, L.P., its subsidiaries, affiliates, general sponsors, advertisers, promotional partners, other radio stations in the Indianapolis, IN, metropolitan area, and members of their immediate families or households of any of the above are NOT eligible to participate or win in this contest.

3. Once an individual wins a prize in this contest, they are not eligible to win another prize in this contest except as specified within these rules.

4. Persons who have won a prize in another contest or promotion of any kind from WTLC-AM within the thirty-day (30) period immediately preceding the start date of this contest are not eligible to participate.

PRIZES:

The grand prize winner will be awarded five (5) minutes of performance time as the opening act for the 2010 Family Comedy Tour stop in Indianapolis, IN.

1. Prizes that are not mailed (via US mail or UPS) or provided by the participating sponsor must be claimed at the station’s offices within thirty (30) days of the date of winning.

2. No substitution of prize is offered, no transfer of prize to a third party is permitted and non-cash prizes may not be redeemed for cash value, except as determined by station management and/or any sponsor in its sole discretion.

3. All finalists must sign and date official station release and waiver forms as requested.

4. If for any reason a contest winner provides notice that they have decided not to accept an awarded prize, the winner will be required to sign a release form acknowledging that they are forfeiting the prize. It will be at the discretion of the contest sponsor and / or contest administrator if another contestant is to be selected as the winner, if time permits.

5. If contest winner does not claim their prize within 30 days of winning notification, they forfeit the prize.

6. Winners must provide valid identification (i.e. via driver’s license, passport or other photo I.D.) to claim their prize.

EXECUTION:

During the Submission Period, eligible listeners will be encouraged to participate in the Contest by submitting a clean, “family friendly” three (3) minute video of their comedy performance for a chance to be selected as one of four (4) entries that will be posted online for public voting and a chance to win the grand prize.

Contestants must submit a video of their comedy routine to the Station’s website at www.praiseindy.com.

1. Entries must be submitted in MP4, WAV or MOV file format and accompanied with brief bio and contact information (address and phone number), birth date, stage and legal name (i.e. first and last name).

2. The Contest will proceed in the following manner:
a. All contest entries submitted during the Submission Period will be reviewed by a panel of judges comprised of WTLC-AM staff members who will select entries for website posting. The panel will be looking for good, clean, family oriented material. At the discretion of the judging panel, the final four (4) comedians will be posted on the station’s website for the Voting Period.
b. Contestants whose videos are selected to be posted online will be required to sign and submit a publicity release form.
c. After the final four (4) comedians have been selected and posted online, listeners will have the opportunity to log on to www.praiseindy.com to listen to and vote for their favorite contestant
d. The entrant receiving the highest number of online votes will be declared the winner and awarded the grand prize. The winner will be notified by phone and email.
e. On December 3, 2010 at 5:20PM, the grand prize winner will be announced on the air.

All decisions made by WTLC-AM and Radio One of Indiana, L.P. management regarding any aspect of this Contest are final.

GENERAL CONDITIONS:

1. Winners are responsible for all applicable taxes associated with the receipt of the prize (prizes are not transferable and may not be exchanged).

2. Any person winning over $600.00 in prizes will receive an IRS form 1099 at the end of the calendar year for tax purposes and a copy of such form will be filed with the IRS as required by law.

3. No purchase necessary. Contest is void where prohibited. Contest is subject to all applicable federal, state and local laws and regulations.

4. Odds of winning depend upon the number of eligible contestants participating during the Qualifying Contest Period and the Semi-Final Contest Period.

5. By participating in the contest, entrants and winners agree to have their name, voice, likeness, image and / or appearance in any photos, video recordings, audiotapes, digital images, and the like, taken or made to be used in any advertising or broadcasting material relating to this contest, in any media now known or hereafter devised for advertising or promotional purposes without additional compensation, and must sign a publicity release prior to acceptance of the prize. By entering this contest, each participant agrees to comply with the Official Rules and the decisions of the contest sponsor which shall be final and binding in all aspects relating to the contest.

6. By participating in the contest, entrants and winners agree that the sponsors of the contest and any related broadcaster (i.e. TV One) will have complete ownership of such pictures, video recordings, etc., including the entire copyright, and may use them for purpose consistent with promoting the contest or broadcasting any performance. The uses include, but are not limited to illustrations, bulletins, exhibitions, videotapes, reprints, reproductions, publications, advertisements, and any promotional or educational materials in any media now known or hereafter devised, including the Internet.

7. All contest winners will be required to sign a liability release prior to acceptance of any prize. Pursuant to the liability release, the winner or winners will agree to hold WTLC-FM, Radio One of Indiana, L.P., any other contest parties and each of their respective affiliates, subsidiaries, agencies, officers, shareholders, directors, employees, agents and representatives of each of the foregoing, harmless against any and all claims or liability, directly or indirectly related to or arising from or in connection with contest participation or the acceptance, possession or use / misuse of awarded prize or any portion thereof, or participation in prize-related activities, including but not limited to any related travel.

8. Winners must provide valid identification (i.e. via driver’s license, passport or other photo I.D) to claim their prize.

9. The station retains the right to disqualify any contestant if all contest rules are not followed.

10. So long as no participant is materially adversely affected, the station reserves the right to make changes in the contest rules, which will become effective upon being announced on the air.

11. WTLC-AM, Radio One of Indiana, L.P., participating sponsors and their respective parent companies, subsidiaries, affiliates or their representatives, agents and employees are not responsible for the inability of any contestant or listener to complete or continue a telephone call, or internet submission or voting due to equipment malfunction, busy lines, inadvertent disconnections, unavailable network, server, Internet Service Provider (ISP) or other connections, communication failures or human error that may occur in the transmission, receipt or processing of entries. In addition, WTLC-AM, Radio One of Indiana, L.P., participating sponsors and their respective parent companies, subsidiaries, affiliates or their representatives, agents and employees are not responsible for lost, misdirected, mutilated, illegible or incomplete contest entries or votes. Once submitted, entries become the property of the station and will not be returned.

12. By accepting the prize, the winner acknowledges that WTLC-AM and Radio One of Indiana, L.P., have neither made, nor are in any manner responsible or liable for, any warranty, representation or guarantee, express or implied, in fact or in law, relative to the prize or to any portion thereof, including but not limited to its quality, mechanical condition or fitness for a particular purpose.

13. WTLC Radio One of Indiana, L.P., its subsidiaries, its affiliates, participating sponsors and promotional partners will not assume any responsibility for any changes in the execution of the contest, including; cancellation of the contest as a result of the occurrence of events not within the control of WTLC-AM, Radio One of Indiana, L.P., its subsidiaries, affiliates, participating sponsors, promotional partners and other radio stations, such as acts of God, strikes, terrorists acts or criminal acts of third parties. In the event such an act should occur, reasonable attempts will be made to offer the winner comparable prize(s) currently being offered by the station in lieu of the prize originally awarded.

14. If for any reason, the Contest is not capable of running as planned, including without limitation, any suspected evidence of tampering or technological corruption or if any portion of the Contest is compromised by virus, bugs, worms or unauthorized human intervention, fraud, an insufficient number of qualified Contest entries, or any other causes beyond WTLC-AM and Radio One of Indiana, L.P.’s control which, in WTLC-AM and Radio One of Indiana, L.P.’s sole opinion, corrupts, threatens or impairs the administration, security, fairness, integrity, or proper conduct of the Contest, WTLC-AM and Radio One of Indiana, L.P. reserve the right to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the Contest at their sole discretion.

CONTEST DESCRIPTION:

The TLC Pay Day Artist of the Day contest (“Contest”) will begin on October 4, 2010 and end on October 29, 2010 (“Contest Period”). Each Contest winner will be awarded a cash prize in the amount of Five Hundred Dollars ($500).

HOW TO ENTER:

Listeners of WTLC-FM who are legal residents of the U.S., and are 18 years of age and older will be able to take part in this Contest. To participate in the Contest, listeners must do the following:

1. Listen to WTLC-FM each morning at approximately 7:10am Eastern Standard Time for Tom Joyner to announce the TLC Pay Day Artist of the Day.

2. Be the tenth (10th) caller at 317-239-1067 when ANY SONG BY THE ANNOUNCED “ARTIST OF THE DAY”  IS PLAYED IN ITS ENTIRETY throughout the day (beginning at 10:00am and ending at 5:00pm Eastern Standard Time). The tenth caller will win a cash prize of Five Hundred Dollars ($500).
