*Jada Pinkett Smith says her famous husband is seriously hoping to one day leave his lucrative Hollywood career behind and make a serious run for the White House.
“Will is thinking about going into politics,” Jada said, according to ShowbizSpy. “He once said he could imagine becoming a US president. He wasn’t joking, he was quite serious about it.”
As for the automatic first lady gig that goes along with her husband’s ambitions, “It’s just not for me,” she admitted. However, she does have a political interest in changing the nation’s broken public education system.
“Will and I want to leave traces on this planet – and with that I mean more important traces than just films,” said the actress, who, along with her husband, set up the Will and Jada Smith Family Foundation, a charity which focuses on helping youths in urban inner cities.
