Indiana State Police say they now have a “main suspect” in the murders of two teens from Delphi. Sergeant Kim Riley says evidence leads investigators to believe that the man in a photo released last week, seen on the Monon trail in Delphi, at the very least, participated in the deaths of Liberty German, 14, and Abigail Williams, 13.

The picture of the suspect was taken on February 13 at the same time that the teenagers were on that trail. The pair were last seen around 1 p.m. near the Monon High Bridge. Their bodies were found the next day near Deer Creek which is about a mile away.

Police have not released their cause of death. As the investigation continues, friends and family gathered on Sunday in that small Central Indiana community to lay “Libby’ and “Abby” to rest.

There was a viewing and funeral at Delphi High School. ISP urges anyone with tips in this case to call 844-459-5786. See the suspect in ISP’s Tweet below:

Here in the city, Indy Metro Police are waiting to find out if bones found on the city’s northwest side are human.  They were discovered Saturday near West 82nd Street and Preservation Drive.  Officials say the bones will be examined today to determine if they’re human.
