Despite Whitney Houston’s family disagreement on the Lifetime Biopic, directed by Angela Basset, she is still moving on to create her story. The movie stars Yaya DeCosta will be playing the leading role as Whitney Houston and Cissy Houston believes that the creators did not know the real Whitney and shouldn’t be involved in her biopic.
Even though many of Houston’s family do not believe that Bassett should be the director of the film; Bassett explained in her interview below that her and Whitney have many connections. Watch the full interview below.
