Planning on getting that holiday shopping out of the way earlier this year?..

it seems that more Americans than ever will be avoiding the malls this holiday season. A record 44 percent of shoppers say they plan to do their shopping online this year, according to the National Retails Federation’s annual survey. People are also planning to spend less on themselves, and more on others. Fifty-seven percent say they plan to spend about 125-dollars on items for themselves, down from last year. Electronics will be the most popular gifts this year. Overall, retail sales during the months of November and December are expected to rise by more than four percent.

So what are you going to do this holiday season? Brave the crowds at the mall or do all of your shopping from your favorite chair?
