Although at the end of every Law & Order: SVU episode it is stated that”the story is fictional and no actual person or event was depicted,”but we all know Law & Order: SVU are known for pulling story headlines. Last season they recreated the Chris Brown and Rihanna domestic incident and now this season they are mixing two inspirations into one episode titled “The American Disgrace”. They pulled both elevator situations between Jay-Z and Solange and Ray Rice and his Fiancé at the time and altered the characters and storyline by putting their own twist on it.
