Fans weren’t gonna let a little rain dampen the spirits of the new Chuck Brown Memorial Park in Washington, DC. Jackie Braitman scuplted the 17-foot high statue of the “Godfather Of Go-go” at Langdon Park in Northeast. The park is also interactive, with lights that blink to the sound of Chuck’s most famous hits like “Bustin Loose.”
Chuck Brown would’ve been 78 on 8/22.
