Michael Jackson’s hometown of Gary, Indiana is planning to honor the late superstar. They will name a school after him. School officials have not yet identified which school, but they say the front-runner is Roosevelt right behind the family home. It’s a school that several of the Jackson siblings attended. School officials say they’re working with the Jackson family to pick the school building.
Jackson’s mother, Katherine, donated ten-thousand dollars to the Gary Promise scholarship earlier this year.
