With The 4th of July weekend,there’s going to be a lot of grilling going on and according to a survey by Medifast, more than three-quarters of the respondents say they typically cook burgers on the grill every summer. Just over half serve hot dogs at their cookouts, while 45-percent feed their family and friends chicken or beef kabobs. Meanwhile, fruit salad tops the list of desserts at a barbecue, with nearly a third saying its their choice to cap off a meal. A quarter prefer brownies or cookies, but ice cream is popular with 22-percent. Just five-percent reach into the freezer for a popsicle after the main course.
