Two Audits Confirm IPS Actually Has A Surplus Not A $30 Million Deficit

The Indianapolis Star is reporting two independent audits have confirmed that the Indianapolis Public School (IPS) system DOES NOT have a $30 million deficit. In reality, there is a surplus.
The Star says:
“Instead, IPS spent within its means during the past decade and ended each year with millions of dollars in surplus, auditors concluded.”
