Pharrell Williams has yet another reason to be extremely “Happy” this year. After rocking the Grammys, being nominated for an Oscar and performing at this year’s NBA All-Star game, the superstar singer/producer/rapper is now adding “The Voice” coach to his many talents. The hit TV show broke the news on Twitter and wrote:

“Okay, we can OFFICIALLY say it! WE ARE SO #HAPPY to announce PHARRELL WILLIAMS = #NewVoiceCoach for SEASON 7”

NBC

Pharrell added, “This is going to be so fun”

Adam Levine, who’s a current coach added, “Welcome to the circus dude!”

Pharrell is taking the place of Cee Lo Green who announced last month that he would not be returning to the show after the sixth season. Pharrell makes his debut on the seventh season premiere.
