President Barack Obama and First Lady Michelle revealed in an interview Friday with Barbara Walters that their youngest daughter Sasha doesn’t have permission to use Facebook. They don’t feel she is old enough to access social media.
First Lady Michelle Obama on daughter using Facebook:
“I still am not a big believer in Facebook for young people…particularly for them, because they’re in the public eye. Some of it’s stuff they don’t need to see and be a part of…So we try to protect them from too much of the public voice.”
Older sister Malia who is 15 has limited access to Facebook.
