The FBI has just released surveillance footage of Aaron Alexis’ attack on the Washington Navy Yard. The FBI’s Valerie Parlave say Alexis was “delusional” and thought he was “being controlled or influenced by electromagnetic waves”. The attack left 13 people dead, including the shooter, and several more people wounded.
In the video, you can see Alexis running through hallways with a sawed-off shotgun. Parlave also stated the agency recovered electronic media that indicates Alexis was prepared to die and accepted death as the ultimate outcome for his actions at the Navy Yard.
Alexis had scratched strange phrases into the shotgun including, “End to the torment”, “Not what y’all say”, “Better off this way” and “My ELF weapon”, which is believed to be in reference to ‘extremely low frequency’…
