Queen Latifah has a pretty full schedule in the near future with her new talk show, ‘The Queen Latifah Show’ debuting on television this Monday…but she said recently that she’s still got time for her ‘Living Single’ family.
Queen Latifah told Essence.com recently that she thought the idea of a ‘Living Single’ reunion was a “cool idea”
“Oh man! I would love to! I was just talking to Kim Coles the other day and Erika [Alexander] and I were texting. The Living Single cast is like family to me. We spent five years together. I love all of them. Everybody is doing different things, all over the place. That will always be my family.”
Queen Latifah also revealed that the show wasn’t cancelled by Fox, but it was indeed her that chose to walk away from the show.
“When I did that show I still had so much more inside of me in terms of what I wanted to do with acting and producing. It was nagging at me. I honestly could have continued that show for more years. It wasn’t cancelled. But I decided that I needed to fulfill that side of me.”
