The entire state of Florida has to send their officers to the anti-racial profiling and sensitivity training because their offenses seem to be endless.

Roy Middleton, 60, went in his driveway Saturday, to look for a cigarette in his mother’s car when police showed up on the scene and demanded he get of the car with his hands up.  According to witnesses, Middleton did not show any aggressive behavior toward them and complied with their demands before they riddled the scene with bullets.  Luckily, they were also unskilled in shooting because only one of the many bullets hit Middleton in the leg.

Apparently, a neighbor saw him looking in the car and called police.  According to the NewsOne report:

“Middleton told the Pensacola News Journal that as he heeded the order and turned to face officers, they open fired and struck him in the leg. ‘It was like a firing squad,’ Middleton said. ‘Bullets were flying everywhere.’ “

The officers have been put on paid administrative leave as an investigation is made into the crime.  Middelton’s mother, 77-year-old Ceola Walker said to the deputies that shot her son:

“I’ll wait and see what they have to say,” said Ms. Walker. “They have some explaining to do.”

Check out the report from her perspective and see all of the bullets that hit her car and home.  It indeed looks like the “firing squad” that Middleton explained.
