The scene at an elementary school talent show turned ugly last week when an argument between two moms escalated into an all-out brawl.

According to CBS affiliate WKMG-TV,moms Latisha James and Jessica Tylerwere at Lakeview Elementary School in St. Cloud, Fla., last Friday to attend their children’s talent show when Tyler asked James — who had been standing to videotape her daughter’s performance — to sit down.
James, 39, says that Tyler then “knocked” over her younger daughter, who had been standing in the crowd. Tyler insists, however, that she had bumped into the child accidentally.
As is evident from video footage of the event, the situation quickly escalated, with both moms allegedly yelling expletives at one another and exchanging physical blows. James, who police say instigated the altercation by “choking” Tyler, was arrested on charges of battery.
“The lady came after me and grabbed me by the throat and hit me in the face,” Tyler, 27, said in a 911 call following the incident, according to ABC affiliate WFTV.com.
Though she was not immediately arrested, Tyler may still face battery charges if the state attorney’s office decides to prosecute her, reports the Orlando Sentinel.
Both moms have since been banned from the elementary school. Tyler says she was even barred from attending her fifth-grader’s graduation ceremony this week.
