American Legion Post 249 Honors It’s Supporters!

The local American Legion Post 249 located on Dr. King Street held it’s “Wings of Love Award Dinner” Saturday. Among those honored, IMPD Chief Rick Hite, Duane Alexander of the Legion Service, City County Councilor William Duke Oliver, Child Advocate Kim Bluitt, Jazz in the Park Founder John Conner and Margaret Hamilton, founder of Vi’s Black Pot restaurant.
