The Manti Te’o girlfriend hoax story continues to take amazing twists and turns. It’s a story that popular sports blog, Deadspin, broke online, it took off like wildfire, got picked up by mass-media and has continued to take shape, hour by hour.
Black Sports Online has unearthed a clip of Manti Te’o claiming his girlfriend wrote him a letter before Notre Dame played Stanford last year.
Notre Dame played Stanford on October 13, 2012.
Lanay Keatu died on September 12, 2012, according to published reports from various sources, including Sports Illustrated and The South Bend Tribune.
