TJMS Exclusive: PHOTOS: Tom Joyner Kicks Off Dr. Day in Philly

The state of health among African Americans isn’t at its best but it can be turned around quickly. Tom Joyner kicked off the weekend long “Take Your Loved One to The Doctor” event in Philly with a bang. The goal is to educate the community on the importance of going to the doctor whether or not you believe something is wrong.

Live performances from Vashawn Mitchell and Johnny Gill were just some of the highlights.
