According to news reports, one time rapper Ms. Melodie has passed away. As of this posting, the cause of death and her age had not been revealed.
Ms. Melodie, whose real name was Ramona parker, was part of the famed Boogie Down Productions crew or BDP which was fronted by the legendary KRS-One. In fact, the two were married up until their divorce in 1992.
In 1988, she dropped a verse on the posse cut “Self Destruction” alongside notable rappers including the late Heavy D, MC Lyte and Kool Moe Dee.
