The Indiana Blood Center was unable to meet demand at Indiana hospitals for two blood types, O-negative and A-negative earlier this morning. In addition, supplies for the other types are also needed.
If you can donate blood we urge you to visit an Indiana Blood Center donor center in the next 24 hours. Race fans are encourage to donate all participants will receive a race-themed t-shirt, while supplies last.
All centers are open from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Saturday from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m.
