Mary J. Blige will be on the cover of Essence Magazine for the 12th time!! For the June 2012 issue, Mary J. Blige is not only gracing the cover of Essence but is also serving as the guest editor.
Preparing for her headline performance during the Essence Music Festival in New Orleans this July, Blige is looking extra comfortable in her own skin these days. Mary is giving her insight into relationships, finances, and fashion. She also is unveiling even more about her journey in life.
Mary J. Blige says, “I was never really able to look at myself in the mirror until I began to hear God telling me I was beautiful. Suddenly, other people started telling me I was beautiful, too, because I had started believing it.”
