Through the fictious character Foxy Brown, Pam Grier was able to make incredible impact on the image of the Black woman in America. Whether on screen or off, Pam was the epitome of sex and strength. (Men wanted her and women wanted to be her.) Her image was a dominating force in the 70s and among blacksploitation films. She helped open doors for so many black female actresses by changing the the way Hollywood saw Black women in those days. Now comes the movie… I’m sooo excited cuz she was one of my “Sheros” when I was a little girl… and she still is.
By the way Pam wants Halle Berry to portray her in the biopic.
