An internal investigation was conducted by NBC News has revealed that one of its very owned “seasoned” producers was to blame for an edited portion of George Zimmerman’s 911 call that clearly mislead viewers of the network broadcast coverage of the Trayvon Martin shooting. The edited clip made it appear that Zimmerman mentioned Martin’s race in the beginning of his 911 call. The results of the internal investigation determined that was not the case. The Network is refusing to publicly name the producer responsible. The did issue and apology and have vowed to take steps to ensure this never happens again. Click here to read more on this story.
