    • Take a look at what you have as a hobby or past time to reinvent a lifestyle and good salary. Is there a market for your skill in that area?

    • Choose to write that book you have so much knowledge to give to others. As a writer, you have placed yourself for others to seek your advice when they buy your book. This can be done since you have time to spend reinventing yourself in a worthwhile area and one you like. It might be a cookbook, memoirs or anything you know to share with others.

    • Create a job in the neighborhood, by asking others what their needs are along with what they can pay for that service. Don’t think big, think small and grow from the beginning. Your work will bring customers and a good referral will keep you busy with your reinvention of yourself as a service person.

    • Offer to do repair work in your home  on a small scale. If you can do carpentry, landscaping or other duties for others, they will hire you instead of looking in their phone books when they require help.

    • Read the want ads and plug yourself into what people are needing. Supply and demand will bring you a new employment opportunity. If the ads lead you into something unknown, tackle it until you learn how to accomplish the things people need to have another person help them with at home.

    • Talk and visit with people who have work beyond what they can handle. Some employers will hire part time men and women since benefits don’t have to be paid to them. This might develop into a job with benefit for you in the future, be patient.
