With so many people speculating on Nick Cannon’s condition I just wanted to give the latest update.

As reported earlier, Nick Cannon was taken to the hospital after suffering from kidney failure. His wife Mariah Carey tweeted the shocking news: “Please pray for Nick as he’s fighting to recover from a mild kidney failure. #mybraveman.”
The emergency served as a wake up call to African Americans everywhere. According to the national Kidney Foundation, for every 1 million Black people nearly 1,000 will be affected by kidney disease.
But at only 31 years old, some question how did this happen.
Dr. Bryan Becker told Essence.com that Cannon’s hospitalization might be due to acute kidney injury.
“I don’t know that he has kidney failure on dialysis,” Dr. Becker tells Essence.com. “I think it may be that just his kidney numbers, his serum creatinine measure, decreased. It could be something as simple as being in Colorado — where Cannon and Carey are currently vacationing — not drinking enough fluids, and being dehydrated.”
Cannon was transferred to a Los Angeles hospital to continue treatment after being treated in Aspen, Colo.
