Don’t pinch me because I don’t want to wake-up. Oh, this isn’t a dream, you mean the Butler Bulldogs did it again? For Real!! They are headed to the championship game of the Men’s NCAA Basketball Championship game for the second year in a row. The Bulldogs beat a very hot VCU team 70-62. Shelvin Mack lead Butler with 24 points, Matt Howard had 17 points, but got into foul trouble midway through the second half, but Zach Hahn came off the bench and gave the bulldogs the spark they needed to get over the hump. Once again Butler Coach Brad Stevens did a fantastic job preparing his team for the battle. They might have been here before, but this time the attitude is to leave with no less than a championship.

I have to take my hat off to VCU, so many people didn’t think they should have even been in the tournament, and they played they’re hearts out. VCU coach Shaka Smart did a tremendous job, and believe me this won’t be the last we see of VCU in the big dance. Butler will face UConn on Monday night for the Men’s NCAA Basketball Championship. Go Dawgs!!!!!
